The First Thursday of the Month Join Holst Victorian House this autumn and winter for a series of story-telling evenings in the elegant Victorian Drawing Room on the first Thursday of the month. Edgar Allan Poe is the undisputed master of gothic horror and his dark tales have for successive generations thrilled, excited and terrified. His macabre imagination explores the darkest, deepest recesses of the human mind and claustrophobic nightmares of murder and madness are his signature. Join master raconteur Andrew Meller as he brings some of Poe's greatest and most menacing creations to life. Told by candlelight, this is the perfect accompaniment to a dark winter's night! Tickets are £20 per talk per person and include a glass of wine. Numbers are restricted to 17, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
