Martin McDonagh's latest film reunites the In Bruges acting partnership of Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell but in a story with a rather different flavour. Set on a remote Irish island, two lifelong friends, Colm (Gleeson) and Padraic (Farrell) have a meeting in which Colm announces that he wishes to end the friendship. Padraic's bewildered attempts to rescue the relationship are rejected and the impasse leads to alarming consequences. A winner of multiple awards, and regarded by many as McDonagh's best film to date, this is a rewarding study of the ramifications of friendship and its limits.Pre-booked tickets will be guaranteed a seat but please come early so that we can monitor seating availability.
